Eaton Fire Home Rebuilding Program

Rebuilding

HCRN helps eligible Eaton Fire survivors who were uninsured or underinsured rebuild their homes at little to no cost. As a licensed California general contractor, we oversee the rebuilding process. Volunteer labor, donated materials, and community support help make each home possible.

How It Works

Volunteer hands. Professional standards.

We use a mix of volunteer labor and trade subcontractors to complete these homes. Volunteers travel from all over North America to serve, and these incredible people are our greatest asset.

HCRN is a licensed contractor in the State of California and oversees all work completed on homes, ensuring inspections are passed so that home construction is never delayed.

Little to No Cost. Fully Licensed. No Catch.

Qualifying homeowners rebuild at little to no cost. We keep it that way with volunteer-powered construction and donated building materials—then back it with professional oversight as a licensed California general contractor (License #1075512). Our construction leadership manages every site, schedules every inspection, and signs off on every home.

Homecoming Day

The Day the Keys Go Back

Rebuilding ends the way it should — with a family walking back through their own front door. Neighbors, volunteers and partner organizations gathered in Altadena to watch it happen.
