HCRN needs skilled volunteers to repair Pajaro, California!

After two months of deployment, our Disaster Resource Village Command Center has completed its mission. In the immediate aftermath of the Pajaro levee break, HCRN worked tirelessly, 15 hour days for up to 7 days a week. We provided assistance for flooding survivors and allowed partner organizations access to office space and internet. While this initial mission is complete, our next mission is the repair of homes damaged due to flooding.

That’s where skilled volunteers like you make the biggest difference! HCRN will be hosting weekend work days to bring in volunteers to assist families with all sorts of repairs. If you feel confident in your ability to complete simple construction tasks or even if you just need a little guidance, we need you! The town of Pajaro needs you, and most of all, the families we serve need you!
