We couldn’t be more proud of the work accomplished last week, providing aid to over 12,000 households impacted by the the LA Wildfires. We can’t do this work without the support of our donors, so today we want to recognize several of the individuals and organizations that made it possible for HCRN to organize and collaborate with the California Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) and Emergency Network Los Angeles (ENLA).

First and foremost, thank you to Kaiser Permanente who heard about what we wanted to do for the community, our need for a site and decided to offer up their headquarters in Pasadena, CA to host the Wildfires Resource Hub. Without this donation, there’s no way we would have been as successful as we were.

Next we want to thank Lowe’s Home Improvement for their generous donation towards not just the Resource Hub, but for the beginning of our cleanup efforts. We look forward to this partnership and how it will positively impact these devastated communities.

Finally we want to thank Bayside Church, World Compassion Network, Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation and Don Gomez for their financial contributions which enabled us to organize and manage the Wildfires Resource Hub so successfully.

We can’t be everywhere, but without you we’re nowhere. These are just a few of the amazing donors who made last week, not just possible, but an extraordinary success. Thank you to everyone has donated to our work, and we hope you’re ready for the cleanup to begin in Los Angeles!
