There are currently 15 fires burning across California, as of this morning. HCRN is closely monitoring their activity via Watch Duty and Cal Fire updates.

In Sonoma County, the Point Fire has grown to over 1,100 acres and has forced mandatory evacuations. The low humidity and windy conditions last night caused the fire to grow. Smoke from the Point Fire caused the sky to turn orange yesterday afternoon and the Air Quality Index is expected to be negatively impacted by the continued burn.

HCRN is working with the Sonoma Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) to provide resources as needed. Follow our Facebook page for more updates on the Point Fire and other incidents as they progress.
