Last week, HCRN said goodbye to our friends from Christian Public Service serving in Happy Camp. This team has moved on to a new project and we wish them all the best!
Christian Public Service brings young men in to communities for several months long deployments, so they can serve those in need. In Happy Camp, we have seen their work bring Slater Fire survivors back home, as they help HCRN rebuild homes lost in that 2020 wildfire. Truly, it has been a blessing to have them operate on every home we’ve had the pleasure of building for these survivors.
We’d like to thank each of the Christian Public Service leaders who have taken on the responsibility of stewarding the young men who have come to serve. And of course, we couldn’t do any of this work without the young men who took it on themselves to be part of Rebuilding Homes and Restoring Lives.
