En enero de 2024, una gran inundaci\u00f3n da\u00f1\u00f3 miles de hogares y dej\u00f3 a al menos 1200 familias sin poder regresar. Algunas casas sufrieron 2,5 metros de agua y perdieron muchas de sus pertenencias. HCRN y nuestro socio Community Recovery Team han estado trabajando para ayudar a los m\u00e1s afectados a regresar a sus hogares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para ayudarnos en el camino, hemos tenido la suerte de contar con algunos equipos que se quedaron en nuestro dormitorio y se encargaron de las cosas. Nuestro incre\u00edble equipo de AmeriCorps NCCC, Red 8, ha estado con nosotros desde mediados de enero y ha estado aprendiendo todo tipo de habilidades, incluyendo paneles de yeso y pisos. Este grupo de j\u00f3venes est\u00e1 terminando su estad\u00eda de media jornada con nosotros y regresar\u00e1 a la sede de AmeriCorps la semana que viene. \u00a1Estamos muy orgullosos de la forma en que han crecido como individuos y como equipo durante su estad\u00eda con nosotros y les deseamos lo mejor en su pr\u00f3ximo proyecto!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El siguiente equipo que queremos destacar es el grupo de manitas que vinieron de todo Estados Unidos para trabajar en una casa durante un fin de semana. Este equipo fue organizado por un amigo de HCRN, Allen Lee, y su visi\u00f3n era reunir a tantos manitas como fuera posible para hacer algo bueno y crecer juntos como personas y manitas.
