I want to make the community aware of two special and significant contributions that help to keep our Evansville coordination center running. In both cases, the assistance was offered in a quite impromptu meeting with genuine concern for Newburgh and Evansville. They didn't help as a publicity stunt or even concerned about tax deductions. Both Verizon Wireless and Vectren Energy gave when no one was looking.

Verizon Wireless has provided our team leaders and staff with top notch data and voice service and did so at no charge. The phones were delivered to our coordination center within 30 minutes of the request.

Vectren Energy Delivery let us have brand new computers and printer that they had purchased for their own use.

How can you help? Volunteer or make a donation. Your donation will be tax deductible and will go straight to the recovery and victim assistance. Food and hardgoods donations should be dropped off at the Apple Center plaza in Evansville. Volunteer labor and money donations should go to the HCRN Volunteer Coordination Center setup in the St.Lukes church.
