HCRN Volunteers do make a difference!

Over 1300 volunteers in LA. MS. AL. FL
  • Providing Louisiana with Medical teams in Alexandria, Lake Charles and Thibodaux
  • Door to door medical assessments in Mississippi.
  • Will continue to provide medical assistance in Mississippi (we are opening clinics in Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Waveland and Pearlington)
  • Immunization Clinics ( 150-200 immunizations per day )
  • Lives saved: 5
  • Caring for 361 patients and care givers per week in Louisiana; an average of 120 patients a day were seen in Lake Charles alone.
  • Chain saw and debris clean up, home repairs and several church repairs in Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama.
  • Teams deployed weekly to:
    - Mobile, AL.
    - Biloxi, MS.
    - Gulf Port, MS.
    - Ocean Springs, MS.
    - Alexandria, LA.
    - Saint Bernard's Parrish, LA.
    - Lake Charles, LA.
  • Delivered 23 semi loads of food, water and cleaning supplies (Mobile, East Biloxi, Slidell, Lake Charles)
  • Assisted with food distribution in East Biloxi and Lake Charles
  • We are opening a base camp in East Biloxi end of October to begin home repairs and rebuilds.
  • Have scheduled an additional 200 volunteers in the next 3 weeks.
  • HCRN Doctors have logged 5400 hrs at $ 135.00 per hour for a total of $729,000 in-kind labor
  • HCRN Nurses and RTT have logged 21,672 hours at $ 32.00 per hour for a total of $693,504 in - kind labor
  • HCRN Work crews have logged 31,500 hours at $ 16.16 per hour for a total of $509,040 in-kind labor
  • Total HCRN volunteer hours 58,572 of labor at a $ amount of $1,931,544 of in-kind labor.
    Estimated $ of in-kind donated goods $505,000 used and sent.
