You cannot smile without saying Char Binkley. So I am smiling as I write: Char Binkley interviews HCRN staff and Hope City coordinators in a radio interview. Kevin Cox, Kevin Moss and Valerie Cox were live in the station with Ken Wetzel joining in from Gulfport, Mississippi via telephone.
Char opened the show with a great challenge to listeners. The show includes an interview with a Hope City client, Marion Booth, a very expressive southern woman. Ms. Booth's home was seriously damaged by Katrina, but was left standing. Booth credits Hope City volunteers with making substantial repairs to her home and showing the love of God. Don't miss out on this great interview! Thanks WBCL for partnering with HCRN to encourage more volunteers to head south and join the recovery effort. |
