The initial clean up efforts have wrapped up in southern Indiana following the August flooding.  HCRN staff and other organizations assisting the flood victims are now working on meeting the heating needs of the flood victims.  Families in two counties lost furnaces and hot water heaters in the flooding and with the colder weather ahead, replacing these items is a high priority.  HCRN is continuing to help with case management for these needy families.

   Thank you to the many volunteers who have been assisting in this recovery work.  A special thanks to the local church leaders who have stepped in to help coordinate some of the recovery teams.
